Technology 1

Technology 1 for 9th grade is a foundational course to prepare each Liberty Charter High School student with the skills to succeed in projects and assignments they will undertake during their time at LCHS and in future education. This class will focus on research methods and presentation tools. The students will learn to organize the research process and use divers media to present this information. This course will cover needed skills and technologies such as:

• Microsoft Office tools
• Other media software such as photo and video editing tools
• Other media hardware video and still cameras as well as audio capture devices

These tools will be needed to complete future projects for other classes at LCHS. The majority focus will be on Microsoft Office tools. Each of the following tools will be addressed to some degree through this course:

• Microsoft Office Word
• Microsoft Office Excel
• Microsoft Office PowerPoint
• Microsoft Office Access
